Chorale and Encore Win Big
at Music In The Parks
Congratulations to SRHS Choral Department's Encore and Chorale members for their spectacular performance in the Music In Parks Festival Competition on Saturday, April 8, in Orlando!
They brought home four 1st Place trophies and one 1st Place medal for the following categories:
Chorale, 1st Place trophy - Mixed Choir
Gabriel Float, 1st Place medal - Outstanding Student Accompanist, playing cello for Chorale and Encore. He received a perfect score of 10 from both judges!
Encore, 1st Place trophy, Superior Rated - Renaissance Ensemble
Encore, 1st Place trophy, Superior Rated - Show Choir Ensemble
Finally, the Sebastian River High School Choral Department received the highest honor of the day by being awarded the "Esprit De Corps" trophy (pronounced espree-de-core) for demonstrating professionalism in their performance and conduct both on and off the stage throughout the Festival. They exhibited the highest decorum and were called a "class-act" by the festival officials.
We are very proud of the students who performed and represented Sebastian River High School so well!

Congratulations to Encore and Soloists, who received Superior Ratings at the District 13 MPA and qualified to perform at the State Solo & Ensemble MPA at Palm Beach Atlantic University on Friday, April 7, 2017.
At the State MPA, Encore performed very well and received Excellent Ratings, in the Standard Literature and Special Category.
The following Soloists received Excellent and Superior Ratings:
Senior Kayla Eidem - Excellent
Senior Lee'na Michaels - Superior
Senior Ryan Rafuls - Superior
Freshman Caitlyn Seeloff - Superior

March 19, 2015: SRHS FBLA member and Choral Department student, Peyton Roux, sings "The National Anthem" for 3,000 at the FBLA Opening Ceremonies in Orlando, Florida.
All - State !
November 2014: Ali Simpson was selected through audition to the 2015 Florida All-State Women's Choir, pictured with Larry Stanley, Director of Choral Activities. Congratulations to Ali for this prestigious honor!
January 2015: The 2015 Florida All-State Women's Choir concert was held at the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida.
